Welcome to the Sunshine Coast Sportfishing Club

We are a fishing community, focusing on social connections and family bonds. Our club embraces anglers of all levels, from novices taking their first cast to seasoned enthusiasts with years of experience. Whether fishing from the shore, kayaks, runabouts, half-cabs, jet skis or offshore boats, using bait, lures or flies our members bring a wealth of diverse experiences to the table.

Whilst we are a socially orientated club, we do have a competitive nature with regular club competitions and annual awards. Competitions are held throughout the year in impoundments, rivers, estuaries, on our beaches or inshore / offshore. Competitions are held locally as well as across SE QLD and are designed to be inclusive and available to all members regardless of fishing experience.

The Sunshine Coast Sportfishing Club is an ANSA QLD affiliated club and as such we follow the rules of the national body and guidelines whilst embracing the association’s motto of Sport, Conservation and Integrity.

New Members are always welcome, if you want more information about joining you can come along to one of our monthly meetings which are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm at Northern Grounds, 2/46 David Low Way, Diddillibah QLD 4559.
