Club Membership
The Sunshine Coast Sportfishing Club is a great, family orientated fishing club.
Our members enjoy all forms of fishing whether it is tempting Snapper on soft plastics, bottom bashing for reef fish, trolling for pelagics, fishing estuaries for Flathead and whiting or casting lures for Bass, Saratoga or even Barramundi in our local waterways. We fish from the bank, boats (big and small), kayaks and jetskis.
If you are new to the Sunshine Coast, just starting on your fishing journey or someone looking to find like minded people then why not come along to one of our meetings (there is no obligation to join) and see what our club is about.
The Club holds monthly member meetings. These meetings are quite casual and we usually have an entertaining guest speaker.
When: Second Tuesday of each month at 6:45pm for a 7.00pm start.

Memberships are available for family groups as well as individual memberships for seniors 16 & over and juniors under 16 years.

Thank you for your interest in joining The Sunshine Coast Sportfishing Club. There are two ways to make an application for membership.
In person at one of our Club Members meetings.
Electronically via email.
In Person – Complete the editable Membership Application Form (link below). Print and sign the form, then present the completed Membership Application Form along with the required membership payment in cash or card to the Membership Officer (or any other member of the management committee) at the next Club Members Meeting.
Electronically – Complete the editable Membership Application Form (link below). Print and sign the form, then email the completed Membership Application Form to the Membership Officer membership@scsfc.com.au. Pay your membership fees directly into the club bank account as detailed below.
Payment Methods: Cash or Card In Person at a Club members meeting or via EFT (we do not accept cheques).

Membership Fees:
All fees include Sunshine Coast Sportfishing Club Inc (SCSFC) club membership and ANSA Queensland Branch (ANSAQ) membership fees. Our membership year runs from the 1st July to 30th June.
ANNUAL FEES:
Senior Male or Female joining as individual $75
Junior Male or Female joining as individual $19
Family (up to two adults, dependent children U16, full time dependent students 16-23) $100
Note: Juniors must be recognised family members of the primary senior member i.e. either children or grandchildren
New members joining after 1st January are eligible for half year fees.
If a new member joins after 1st April and pays the full annual fee, their membership will carry through to 30th June the following year.
HALF YEAR FEES
Senior Male or Female $50
Junior Male or Female $19
Family (up to two adults, dependent children U16, full time dependent students 16-23 - $70
ANSA QLD TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP
For a visitor to the club to be covered by the ANSA QLD public liability insurance policy, they must be registered as a temporary ANSA QLD Member before the event e.g., fishing competition or camping trip and their membership ends at the conclusion of the event
Temporary membership ANSA QLD costs $15.00 Per Person
Fishing Classes for ANSA QLD for records and competitions. There are different divisions that are determined by gender and age at 1st July
Current divisions are:
Senior Male and Female – aged over 16 years
Junior Male and Female - aged between 10 and 15 years
Sub Junior Male and Female – aged under 10 years
